The Gentle Post is a snail mail gift subscription for the people you love: a handwritten letter, written in fountain pen and sealed with wax, posted from my little home studio in Camden, NSW, to their letterbox once a month.
Each envelope holds a letter about the season, what's been growing in my sketchbook and the small, ordinary joys I've noticed along the way, along with a few handmade treasures.
Past envelopes have included an illustrated art print, seasonal slow living rituals, a watercolour bookmark, a sticker and a cup of tea to read it all with. The contents change with the seasons, so every month is a little surprise.
It's a thoughtful, unusual Christmas gift for her, for a friend who loves stationery, a book lover, or anyone who needs a reminder that slow is enough. A gift that keeps arriving long after the wrapping paper is gone.
How it works
Choose Australia or international, and how many months to give: 1, 3, 6 or 12.
Choose when the first envelope arrives, and add your gift message.

I'll email you a printable gift card, so you have something to give on Christmas morning.

Delivery and start dates
Envelopes are posted around 1st each month. For a gift that starts in December and arrives before Christmas, order by 20th November. Later orders will start in January, and you'll still receive a printable gift card to give on the day.
Questions:
Does the gift renew?
No. It's paid once, and the letters stop at the end of the gift.
Will the recipient know it's from me?
Yes. Your gift message is included in their first envelope.
Can I send it overseas?
Yes. Choose International, and enter their overseas address at checkout.
What if they'd like to keep receiving letters?
They can join The Gentle Post themselves at any time, and I'll pop a little note in their final gift envelope to let them know how.
